Message From The Chairman

Teaching English overseas is not just a job. No, a job is sitting in a cube for eight hours a day, five days a week, waiting for the weekend. Teaching English overseas is a lifestyle. Your whole environment changes‚ the surroundings, the languages you hear everyday, the cultures you experience. Along with teaching the world's most desired second language, you will have an adventure like no other as you become intimate with faraway places, experiencing new foods and customs, and making new friends. I have to warn you before you take the next step: it will change you. You will grow as a person. This happens with real travel and experiencing the world beyond being a tourist.

You will make a real difference. People around the world yearn to learn English from native speakers like you. They know that English is the international language. It is the language of the travel industry and business. It is the most common language in common. I've seen a scene like this too many times to count: an exchange student from South America arrives at an Asian airport. The student talks to the airline ticket agent and what language do they both speak? Spanish? Chinese? No, English. By teaching English, you are giving your students access to the world and opportunities beyond the horizon.

We have two goals at LCC. I call it the "inside outside service". The first goal is to give you the training to be an excellent teacher. This is the "inside" part of our service. You want to do a good job. You want to be prepared and knowledgeable when you first step into that classroom. We will teach you everything needed to be a TESOL teacher anywhere and to any age, so you will be ready on day one. The second goal is the "outside" part. We will connect you to the outside world. We will help you find a job and give you tips from our experienced, well-traveled trainers on living overseas.

Maybe it's been a short time or maybe it's been years that you've had a desire to do something meaningful and make a difference in the world, and dreamed about being free to travel and live in those faraway places. Over the years, I've met a great many TESOL teachers and let me tell you that I haven't met one who regrets it. I ask you to attend one of our free information events and see how easy LCC can take you into the lifestyle and adventure of overseas teaching.
