Travel is the best education one can have, and teaching English overseas is for many like myself the gateway to such experiences. Almost 10 years ago I embarked on my first journey to Taiwan, where I would spend an intense yet immensely rewarding year teaching English to elementary school students.
Since then, I have taught all types of ESL, from kindergarten to business, in places like Barcelona, Paris, and New York. The times spent in these places are among my most memorable, and have provided a needed break from my other corporate positions in law and marketing.
I relish the opportunity to share my experiences with future ESL teachers, which is why I enjoy working as a trainer for LCC so much. There is simply no better way to see the world and live a dream then to embark on the adventure of teaching English in foreign countries both near and far.
1 year teaching English to 2nd and 5th grade students in a bilingual elementary school in Taiwan.
1 year teaching TOEFL preparation and American Culture classes to foreign students in New York.
1 year teaching business English to employees of a variety of companies in the Barcelona area.
1 year as a business English trainer to managers at companies such as Chanel and Societe General in Paris, while completing my MBA there.
