ESL Chain Schools

Almost all of the jobs for ESL teachers are with English language schools. The majority of all schools are privately owned and run on an individual basis. But there are some major international chain schools who have their own internal recruitment agencies who help you find work within the schools in their group.

As a good starting point, try these major international school groups:

• Berlitz - Major group that has over 400 centers around the world
• British Council - Single biggest employer of ESL teachers worldwide
• EF | English First - Major group that has schools around the world
• ELS Language Centers - Major group with schools around the world
• International House - Major group that has over 120 schools around the world
• Inlingua - Major group that has 100s of schools around the world
• Linguarama - Major group that has schools around the world
• Saxoncourt - Major group that places over 500 teachers per year
• Wall Street Institute - Major group of over 400 schools around the world
